Mantis Viewing System
Bridging the critical gap between the microscope and bench magnifier.
Building on the success of the original Mantis low magnification viewing system, Vision Engineering have launched a new generation of Mantis. Unlike the original Mantis, the new generation provides a range to choose from, providing users with greater flexibility and greater choice, including lower cost or higher specification units.

Mantis bridges the gap between a bench magnifier and a microscope; more comfortable than a microscope; more powerful than a bench magnifier.
- Entry level, low investment versions
- Compact, functional units
- Wide range of magnification options (to x15)
- Shadow-free LED cold illumination, both surface and substage
- Long working distances, large depths of field
- Stable structures for high magnification viewing

Lynx

Introduced in 1999, the Lynx has quickly become the most sought after stereo zoom microscope on the market.
The eyepieceless viewer enables unmatched freedom of head and body position, eliminating operator fatigue, due to an exit pupil 64x larger than traditional eyepiece microscopes. This produces a high-resolution image over a large viewing area.
Spectacles or contact lenses may also be worn in comfort during use.
A variety of objectives and multipliers complement the 6:6 to 1 zoom-ratio offering a combination of magnification up to 120x and working distances to suit requirements.
The modular design enables the user to select optimal mounting, illumination and camera options.
-
Reduced Eyestrain & Operator fatigue
-

Alpha

The Alpha Stereo Binocular Microscope utilises Vision Engineering's patented ISIS Exit Pupil Expansion technology to provide up to 10x greater freedom of head position than conventional binocular eyepiece systems.
ISIS technology expands the available optical pupil by means of multilenticular optical surfaces, allowing the operator more than 38mm of head freedom from the eyepieces.
Alpha eliminates the need for users to precisely align their eye with the centre of each eyepiece. A small movement of the eye no longer means losing part of the field of vision, as the pupil easily stays within the latitude of the twelve-times-wider exit ray bundle.
Users can simply move their eyes to view the full image area, rather than repositioning their heads or the workpiece to operate within the constraints of a narrow conventional exit field.
Spectacles or contact lenses can thus be worn in comfort during use.
High-precision optics provides maximum brilliance and high-contrast images, up to 160x magnification (7-40x standard).
The modular design enables the user to select from a wide variety of options, including mounting, illumination and camera options.

Cluso 1st Article Inspection
The Cluso First Article Inspection System was first developed as an inspection aid for its own manufacturing department to assist and streamline the SMT setup of the Surface Mount Loaders in 1987.

Since then Cluso Vision Systems has refined and enhanced the system with additional time saving tools and introduced QA tools into the program to aid in the traceability of production runs. This was out of requirement as there was NO system available in the world which performed these functions.
In 2001 Cluso Vision Systems was setup to market this product to the world. Further refinements were made and are ongoing as enhancements and features are introduced. Feedback from customers in Australia and South-East Asia are the main proponents of change.
Cluso Vision Systems are continually bringing new features to the system and are always on the lookout for additional enhancements which can be introduced the further enhance the usability of the system as a whole for all customers.
